Irie is a Jamaican greeting that means "everything is good" or "pleasing".

Irie Yoga teaches the practice of conscious breath and intentional movement to calm the mind, engage the spirit, and build physical strength from the inside out.  

Drawing on the foundations of Ashtanga Yoga, Irie Yoga offers individualized yoga experiences for all body types and abilities with a focus on functional mobility and core strength.

During Irie Yoga experiences, participants are encouraged to develop a deeper sense of self-awareness, acceptance of where they are in each moment, and how their yoga practice can translate into other aspects of everyday life.

Irie is a beautiful person and a phenomenal yoga instructor.
Irie Yoga classes are judgement-free zones. Beginners and seasoned yogis are often side by side, both becoming better, stronger, versions of themselves.
"Begin again" is a phrase I learned from Irie Yoga, but now apply to many areas of my life. I appreciate that Irie Yoga is a total mind, body, and soul experience. Study after study confirms healing and health include all three of these factors and Irie comes through on all of them. And it doesn't hurt that Irie is a medical professional with an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology. She observes and listens to her students and can provide personalized feedback that results in better, faster growth.
If I had to sum up Irie's class in one sentence it would be "Come as you are and leave a little stronger"
